First of the 40 firsts

Make homemade marzipan to go into a home baked mincemeat and marzipan couronne. Needed a bit of family help for the kneading thanks to the plaster cast but I did do the marzipan all by myself.
Had a new church social today which was lovely and then did my 2nd first, accompanying and assisting (a bit) my lovely Dad on his hospital radio request round. It was great although a little too eventful I think for my Dad's liking. So I had a request played on Radio Cherwell. Well done Dad.
