Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

Sunday, December 28 Last Sunday of 2014

This photo is from this morning as we attended church at Rock Harbor in Morro Bay.  We have attended several different churches here on the Central Coast and Rock Harbor is one where we feel comfortable. We have also found a smaller, much older congregation at the Presbyterian church that we enjoy very much. I like the “moving” music much better at Rock Harbor. The people at the Presbyterian church are super friendly. So we usually go to one or the other.

Then we went to the “Shine Café,” which is connected to the health food store next door. The café is a vegan restaurant. We had been wanting to try their "tofu scramble." They only serve it on Saturday and Sunday. It was quite good, but the item that really caught my taste buds was the “holiday nog” smoothie. The favor was similar to eggnog; obviously it wasn’t eggnog, but it included bananas and date and some tasty spices. Man it was good.

Late in the afternoon we went for a walk with the three pooches. That is their favorite moment of the day. The shoreline was absolutely void of people, which is exactly opposite of last Sunday afternoon when it seemed like there were lots of people out and lots of dogs.

This has been a very good day!
I love the Central Coast!!

Good night for the last Sunday of 2014,

Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
