Saaxumhuizen Sunrise

I woke up early this morning, with this idea in my head of capturing the emptiness of rural Groningen, with its small villages and nothing but agriculture fields in a flat landscape. The area near Saaxumhuizen seemed perfect for this, so that's where I went. We haven't had any winter weather to speak of, but there has been plenty wind and rain, so here it is: a very wet potato field near Saaxumhuizen!
