Lake Oldambtmeer

Lake Oldambtmeer is part of the "Blauwe Stad" (blue city) project, where a large former agriculture area has been transformed into a new village where all the houses are situated near the water of a new lake. The idea was to give the struggling local economy a boost by attracting new people to the area. Unfortunately, the project was not a complete success, partly due to the worldwide economic crisis. Still, I think the area has lots of potential. If not economic, then at least photographic potential...

Tomorrow it's back to work after being off for two weeks...
