More Sunshine and Snow

A beautiful, bright, sunny day.

It was such a lovely sunny day we decided to head for Kirriemuir for Lunch. Kirriemuir is a gateway to the Grampian range of mountains, stretching from the Forfar Glens to beyond Braemar and Ballatar. For those who know the area, this was taken from a lay-by not far along the Kirriemuir road after leaving the A90. The town itself seems to be set against the backdrop of these snow covered hills.

While having Lunch we discovered that the Cafe was actually a Fund raising business for the Capstone Project, which works in an area of Uganda, not far from where I have worked. We were able to share with the lady who runs the Project with her husband about my involvement in Uganda. If you would like to read more about the work see here.
