The driver couldn't just drive us to the hotel we had to have a little bit of culture on the way - this is the holy hot water wells - just what you need after 5 1/2 hours on a bus with no a/c

Up at 3.30 to catch the bus at 4.00 am - I was given the front seat which meant I had a good view of everything including the near crashes while overtaking on corners.

When we got to the hotel we were told that we had booked for next week and he was full but his mate up the road might have some rooms so once again I'm in a family room with only 5 others this time - no a/c of course.

In the vending I had an unreal moment sat at the bar drinking lion beer with one other English chap and two Aussies watching live England v Australia on the TV - needless to say I think we we the happiest pair.

Also did a bit of sunbathing and actually swam in the ocean but it wasn't as warm as I remembered in 2005.
