Up for breakfast on the beach after negotiating our way through of herd of cattle - I had toast and a milky cup of tea.

We were booked on a snorkelling trip to pigeon island so I couldn't face a fry up. The snorkelling was fantastic saw hundreds of different fish but the coral is very damaged through over use. The second part of the trip was in a small bay where you were not allowed to stand on the coral so the colours and shapes were fantastic. We had split into two small groups the other group saw a turtle but we saw two sharks about 2m long.

On returning to the beach the driver ,or is it pilot, told us to hold onto the boat and he went full speed towards the shore and we hit the beach with an almighty jolt. I think he wanted a big tip - he was unlucky.

The rest of the group leave for the Foundation tomorrow at 1.00pm but 3 of us are at the village near Habarana are staying here an extra night and going straight to the village.

Might pop down to the bar now to watch the last session of the cricket - I noticed the 2 Aussies there when I came back to the hotel to do this blog.
