Hoegh Osaka

I woke up this morning to the news that the cargo ship Hoegh Osaka had been beached and partially capsized on a sandbank off of Cowes overnight.It is thought that the extremely low tide was partially to blame. Luckily the coastguard and RNLI managed to airlift everybody off safely. As far as I am aware the only casualty was a crew member with a broken leg. There has been no pollution, which is a relief. The attempt to refloat the ship at high tide failed. Will see what happens over the next few days.
