January Flower

The Ship is still stuck off of Cowes, but there have been enough photos in the news about this, so I thought I would post something different today.

Opposite the office where I work, a bush has started to flower and this was one of the seed heads. Unfortunately I am not a gardener so I don't know what type of bush/flower it is (can anyone help?). I forgot my trusty Nikon today, but had a cheap compact Fuji with me and was delighted with this shot as I struggle with the AF on the fuji.
