Sunset and Fog
regard myself as someone with a fair bit of knowledge on all things technical. Therefore when Ken's mother bought a new mobile phone - one of those supposedly intended for the elderly as it is simple to use with enormous buttons, I nodded at the man in the shop in a knowing way and assured him I could set it up.
I was therefore disappointed when we arrived home and found it was as dead as a door nail even when charged for 6 hours.. We returned the phone today only to be told that I hadn't inserted the battery. In my defence, I pointed out that having used Apple for years, I assumed the battery was integral. I could tell by his expression that this did not really wash.
The day got better though when we called in to Devil's Dyke, a beauty spot just outside Brighton, late afternoon. Just as the sun was setting the most amazing fog started to roll in. Hard to decide on the images today because, at one point, a horse rider suddenly appeared which created added interest. However, I have decided to go with this one for now.
