A difficult day
Diana returned to work for the first time since Mags passed away. She was in two minds whether or not to return but perhaps gave way to pressure from me and others who told her it was the right thing to do. Even though she is finding it tough and is crying for no apparent reason, I still think she has done the right thing. It's part of the grieving process that only gets better with time and a return to normality. Locking yourself away and avoiding people and situations can only make matters worse.
Well done Di. I was proud of you today.
Now I need to vent my spleen. I learned from Diana at lunch time that Sue had also returned to work today which surprised me. I thought she would need/want to take a little longer than Di. Turns out she was called in for a disciplinary hearing. 10 days off in 37 years of service and they discipline her for taking time off after the death of her mother. For f***s sake. Don't these people have a heart? Hope she told them to go f**k themselves.
Re - the photo layout, let's see if our new masters have a sense of humour. If this image disappears, you know the answer :-)
