Ahoy!

Mum, Greg and I had a day out in Maldon, wandering along the seafront in the sunshine. The wind was strong and we got blown along the way back, right in to the tearooms on the largest working wooden barge in the world. As we hadn't had lunch yet, we resisted the cake, and stuck to a warming cuppa. If you go to Maldon searching for food, prepare to be disappointed. We reluctantly called the search off and head to one of the many garden centres my Mum has frequented to some food. It was quite close to Tiptree Jam Factory, so we swung by for a quick look around the shop and museum.
We had a bit of a quick turnaround and head along to Ipswich cinema with a couple of friends to see Kon Tiki; I'd very much recommend it. Starting 2015 with a film per day.
