Beer Games

Guess what time I got up today? On a Saturday? 6.30am! Ellie and I took our first steps towards becoming synchro swimming stars for our Olympic Challenge. It's not a sport I was especially looking forward to, and we were so close to turning round and leaving when we got there! Thankfully we stuck it out and it was surprisingly fun, even at 7.30am. We learnt a few basic moves this week, but we have a long (and early) slog ahead. I am not going to enjoy these early starts over the coming weeks.
When I got back, G and I went and did a food shop, and then had a relaxing afternoon doing some research for our hen/stag do.
The evening was spent in the pub in the company of friends, board games and booze; a winning combination.
