Home sweet home

Ahhh wasn't it quiet today? I was badly out of practice in commuting but i made it in eventually. I messed up the return trip and ended up with a long walk. It has been lovely to be home early.

I wonder if the person who lives here when this photo was taken felt like that when they got home. I think it was about 95 years ago. The house was already very old by then.
