Mixed sky

A bit of a strange day, weather-wise.  Started off not too bad, and then went really miserable with loads of rain.  The sun got out later in time for a reasonable sunset.  I can't really say I did anything exciting worth reporting; just a few jobs round the house and a bit of design work for something I've got coming up.  In fact, the highlight of my day was having a Victor Meldrew Moment when I discovered that the dripping tap in the bathroom can't be repaired with a simple washer costing a few pennies; no, it has to a new shut-off unit costing £19.20.  Plus, no doubt, VAT and P&P.  Ah, progress.
