MonoMonday Challenge - New

At Christmas some friends bought us this metal heron for the garden.  They had seen our rusty rook and thought it would make an ideal new companion for him.  It has been made to look a little as though it is rusty already but that is a careful paint job, which is all covered by a coat of lacquer.  No doubt once I get it out in the garden and it experiences the elements it will soon have a touch of the real thing, which should look better.
