Reflections

Early morning we had brilliant sunshine at one side of the house, and dark clouds at the other.
So it created this wonderful reflection of the view through the lounge window at one side of the house, reflected through the lounge, on to the glass door, through the kitchen, and ended up on the fir tree  at the other side of the house. So the photo was taken through the kitchen window!
Quite strange!
I'm sure the scientists among us will be able to explain!
I think it is to do with refraction, and the way a ray of light changes direction when it enters at an angle.
Am I right??
