Cartmel Priory

We left our lodge in the morning to spend the day in Cartmel, where we had booked dinner, bed & breakfast in that iconic restaurant L'enclume. We spent a memorable day exploring the village, walking around the race course and visiting the priory, which is as impressive inside as it is out. It was difficult to decide which shot to use for today's blip as there were so many to choose from, but I love the way the light is warming the stones in this one. I hope you do too!
