Stuck up a tree

Windy here today, which probably wasn't the ideal time to prune the apple trees. However, I'm glad I did because sitting at the top of a 125-year-old apple tree my eye was drawn to the beautiful lichen on the branches. It's always been there but I'd never taken the time to have a proper look at it before.

Stuck, as I was with a pruning saw in one hand, I had no choice but to use my trusty iPhone 6 to snap a quick shot top preserve it for posterity. After all, a tree this old won't be around forever...
