Snowdrops and no snow

No snow today, but plenty of rain and hail. Everyone is bracing themselves for snow though and there is a definite Arctic chill in the air. 

Encouraging then, to note that the evenings are getting just that little bit lighter - and the snowdrops are appearing. There's still a long way to go but we've crested the summit and are racing towards Spring.

Or at least that's what we're hoping...
