An English pastorale

BD1 brass is in full swing rehearsing for the Yorkshire regional contest the first weekend in march. This piece is very playable and very listenable, which makes it all a lot easier to practice and rehearse.

I try and play each day, even if it is just long notes for stamina at this time of year, but today I am full of cold so I sat listening to a recording with my part on my lap hoping that it might help me get the feel of the music. The more I hear it the more I like it.
