Pylon

I love looking at pylon's and am fascinated by the different ways different countries build them. The motorways around Calais are not very different to the motorways around Dover, but the pylons identify which side of the Channel we are!

Sadly this is nearer to home, being in the meadow at St Ives Estate, but I had a pleasant few minutes whilst walking Reggie with Mr H to take a few snaps of it. I saw on the tv this week that they are hoping to put the electricity supply underground in the Peak District thereby removing all the pylons. Much as I love them it would be great in many of the beautiful landscapes around here if they could go too. I've blipped this in the hope that they may all be made redundant in time, and the future generations will look at the blip to see what they looked like!
