Tres Reyes

Today is El Día de Tres Reyes , or 3 King's Day. This is the day that children receive their gifts, and many have their picture taken with - who else but the 3 Kings! 
A special bread called Rosca de Reyes  is also traditional. It's a sweet bread formed into a coil. Somewhere hidden in the bread is a plastic baby Jesus, and whoever gets that piece is obligated to give a tamale party on February 2, Candlemas Day. Sometimes there is more than one Jesus, and maybe that's a way to get more than one tamale party!
