Year Three

My old truck!

I am so indifferent about seeing my old truck. Meh.

But. Did take me a few moments to figure out it was my old truck as it does have a few differences.

First of all the Mississippi plate, that kinda threw me, the wheels have been changed to something more sensible looking (although a bit boring - but hey - the tyres have tread now), the rear bumper looks like it's hanging off, and the front grill had been changed.

And the drivers door has a slight ripple.

And the white paint has chipped off quite badly as well.

And it's a whole lot dirtier these days.

But....if it's survived 8 months with someone else, then it must have a new gearbox at the very least.

I did speak to the owner (the guy I sold it to), and yes he had replaced the gearbox - the old one more or less came out in parts - he had been mudding - and he had hit a deer 2 weekends earlier (probably whilst mudding) and that had damaged the grill and drivers door.

He was still pretty pleased with the truck (which was surprising). And it does 100mph now! Which was nice.

I really don't miss that old Chevy.
