Warbirds over Wanaka

This young bird adopted us.  It kept landing on our hands or shoulders or head, while cheeping madly.  We offered it food (bread) on a hand but it did not know what to do. So I popped small amounts right down its throat which was what was wanted.  
I have various shots of feeding it and it sitting on R's shoulder. Thought the hat with warbirds was funny as it was a friendly young chick that could only just fly.     A neighbour is hand rearing it.
