Blaw

Up at 6 to catch a train to Newcastle to find the entire Scotrail network suspended and the Forth Bridge shut even though trains were running fine from Edinburgh. My taxi driver made a valiant but pointless effort to drive by Kincardine but after a few miles and half an hour we gave up and turned back. Instead I dialled in and spent three hours cooking my ears with cordless phone radiation.

A wee wander round the shops with Ewan while Ellen was getting her hair cut and then off out for a cycle. It was nice and warm and breezeless until we turned to head back home and then a strong westerly got up to give us a wee push along the way. Just what I needed.
