Everything is going swimmingly!

After the strong winds of last night, I thought I'd stop off at the pond to check all was well with the ducks and geese. Not only were they swimming around quite happily, but it seems they have a new companion in the form of this swan. I don't know whether he decided to sit the storm out here or whether he is planning a longer stay, but previously the council have moved the swans on as they can create a danger to passing traffic when they are taking off and landing on this small pond.
