Cocoa crisis

Has any of you read about the possibility of not having enough chocolates in the next few years because of cocoa shortage? Articles said that the shortage, which is predicted to be in the year 2020, is caused by disease and crop failure or our insatiable appetite for posh choc. We are just consuming more cocoa than farmers could produce it.

Ironically, I bought two packs of 165grams of M&Ms. A pack more than i usually have. I am not helping with the shortage crisis at all. But what can i do, chocolates are my guilty pleasure!
