Today's the day ......................... to choose your weather

I know we've come off better than most in the weather stakes recently - but today, we've had everything thrown at us.

I could have shown you anything from complete white-out hailstorm, lashing downpours to - actually quite nice.  So I've chosen this, taken on our way back home from Bowness-on-Windermere because it's the kind of weather that I liked most today.

It's the bit after the hailstones and nil visibility to the tiny piece of blue sky, where if you're lucky, the sun might manage to peek through for five minutes.

It comes just before you return to the lashing downpour.....................
