Solace (Day 1)

This morning we played car jenga.  Fitting 5 adults (myself, G (The Boy), Mum, Dad and Grannie) all our packing for a week, a wheelchair and food and drink supplies into a car is not an easy task, but we succeeded and most of us were comfortable for most of the journey.

We arrived mid-afternoon, loaded up the boat, bought a couple of treats from the farm shop and headed off down the canal a little way before mooring for the evening.  Mum managed to catch sight (and shot) of a Kingfisher as we passed through the Tixall Wide on the Staffs & Worcs canal.  Some of us were too busy manning the boat.
