The-oh!
I had to check we were still in Accrington this morning; the weather last night was so bad I expected a yellow brick road outside the front door!
The wind kept waking me up, which I normally wouldn't mind, but I'd agreed to work this morning and had to be up early.
I really didn't want to get up, but once I got to work, time soon flew past, especially as it was really busy.
After work, I called to see my sister and Theo, and promptly started a debate with her and Tom about whether or not they are going to find out the sex of the new baby.
She said yes, he said no!
I agreed with her, that it would be easier planning if they knew what they were having. A boy would mean minimal fuss as all of Theo's old clothes and toys would be there.
A girl (and that's my prediction) would need more stuff and they would have to move house sooner rather than later to accomodate both children better.
Theo was his usual happy little self, but caused me a heart stopping moment when he choked on a grape!
They were quite big grapes, and he insisted on putting them in his mouth whole before squishing and chewing them. I'm guessing one split in half and he must have swallowed it.
The next thing I knew, he'd gone quiet....and red faced.
I think both parents thought I'd gone mad when I grabbed Theo, leant him forwards and starting patting his back!
A few slaps later (Theo....not me for slapping him!) and the offending grape was spat out onto the carpet.....only to be promptly picked up and chomped again!
Luckily, he managed not to choke a second time, but we all watched him closely until he'd finished eating.
He seemed oblivious to the shock he caused us all, and carried on happily playing.
That's more than enough drama for one day; I thought weekends were meant to be relaxing?!
