Handmade Shawl

Very cold, dull day with snow to start with.

I am having a very quiet day, due to the weather and needing to get strength back.

Recently, Eleanor has completed two shawls. They were knitted on a circular pin, with 500 stitches at the end. The colours were her own choice and the pattern was from the 19th Century, but 'revisited' for a contemporary feel.

I am always impressed with the array and variety of skills Eleanor has learned. My only skill is with words, spoken and written - but, as they say, each to his own.
