A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it

Too short to be haughty, too nutty to be naughty
Going on 40 - no electric shocks

The juice of the carrot, the smile of the parrot
A little drop of claret - anything that rocks
Elvis and Scotty, days when I ain't spotty,

Is your glass half full or half empty? I'm a half full kind of girl but the world seems a particulalry insane and dangerous place at the moment. Taking refuge in small things. More reasons to be cheerful today:
a kiss fully meant
an egret in the field, white against the green
the first crocus, mauve and fearless
salty wind in my wild hair
cheese on toast, burnt and bubbly
clean sheets
dancing lights in the fire
