Kendal - Centre of the Universe

From Kendal Market place showing how far you have to go to get to two of the world's most charismatic mountains. Needless to say Knottman has climbed one of them several times. But he has left it a bit late to tackle the other and will have to be content with reading books and watching films about it.
The day started once again with strong winds and heavy rain showers. Then at around 10a.m. Something strange happened. A yellow light appeared in the sky and lifted our spirits. I seem to recall having seen it before but lately it has been such a rare sight that I think I will write to the newspaper about it.
