How many have you seen.

Nostalgia. Definition: A desire to return to some earlier time in ones life, or a fond remembrance of that time, usually tinged with sadness at its having passed.

Unlike teenagers who don't have much of it, old people get more and more of it as the decades pass.
Our great grandparents had only there memoriesand a few black and white photos.

Now, through technology we can do a huge amount to indulge ourselves by bringing those memories back to vivid life.

The photo shows one of my Christmas presents. DVDs of 15 classic musicals.

So far we have enjoyed just one: Annie Get Your Gun.
Where now can you get such entertainment with no violence or blood, no bad language and no sex scenes. Fond memories indeed of a gentler age.
