Fresh as a daisy

Horizontal sleet, gusty winds and enormous puddles set against arctic temperatures - at least the wind chill made it feel that cold - so what better past time to enjoy than quilting! It was the first of our post Christmas sessions this morning and there was a lovely warm hubbub as we greeted each other and settled in to our sewing, chat and coffee. We are all working on different projects and every now and then one is finished and we all gather round to admire it like this one which was brought in today - it honestly felt like a huge ray of sunshine had come into the room. It reminded me yet again of what pleasure this hobby brings with it.
