Art by Sprinkling

Here is an image of Ruby, our Family Spaniel, produced by random sprinkling of granules of Cassiterite (Tin ore) from the Poldark Mine in Cornwall. If you can't 'see' Ruby moving from right to left with a forefoot slightly raised, then don't assume you are visually challenged. You've just got more sense than me! Put simply, this was a trial of some new equipment for macro work: a photo copying stand. I happened to have some Cassiterite to hand, in my minerals collection, but little time for working on it. Need more practice, as usual!
