On again, off again

After the power coming back on last night, it was unfortunately off again when we got up this morning, and stayed off most of the day. It came on again around 4:30pm, then quickly went off again, then came on again around 6:30pm, when we were able to get some food in the oven. It went off again just as we took the food out, so we had to eat curry in almost darkness, which was very messy, but at least we got a hot meal! Back on again about 9pm - fingers crossed that's it now! I've been so grateful for the open fire the last few days; it's given us all, humans and dogs, heat and light and kept us from going completely insane... or freezing to death!
