Edgy Brighton

Spent today chained to the computer on a merry go-round of copy writing and interminable admin. Then late this afternoon I drove through rainy Kent, Surrey and Sussex and down to Brighton, where Skoda is staging the UK launch of the new Fabia.

We are based in a very edgy, self-consciously modern hotel, called My Hotel. It is very close to the famous Lanes, behind the Brighton Pavilion. Supper was next door in a very contemporary Indian restaurant, with deliciously aromatic food and plenty of it.

The hotel corridors are a feast of bold colour. Every floor is different, but my favourite is this, the one where my room is. Rain has cascaded past the windows all evening. Hope it dries up a bit tomorrow!
