Snow

The predicted snow arrived this morning, at times falling thick and fast, then lightly, followed by not at all, then back to blizzard-like. Nothing lasted very long and the snow seemed to melt pretty quickly.

D#1 visited for coffee and lunch. We enjoyed a walk up the hill, well-timed because the sun came out, the sky was blue and the snowy mountains in the distance looked very pretty. Go large to see the barbed wire.

Now there is parsnip cake, courtesy of D#1, to be taken with a mug of tea, the fire is burning brightly and I don't have to go out again. Lovely!
