Pall Mall

This is a portrait of my mom.  She is 89 and still smoking. She gets around on her own.  Goes out for walks -- mostly to smoke or buy ciggies. She is mostly a grumbler but when she is happy I am sure I know where my goofy side comes from.

Just a few moments after I posted this I got a call from my mom.  She sounded a little lonely and bored so I invited her out to take some pictures.  She doesn't see well any more, but she used to be a good photographer. (I bought her a little point and shoot after she has been telling me she was going to buy herself a nice camera.  She doesn't know anything about "computers" so this is going to be interesting.)  We walked around lower campus for a bit.  I took quite a few shots and she took two.  She then moved on to her what she really wanted -- stop by the convenience store to pick up some junk food.
