Waiting

This little tea light holder was a gift to my Gran from our visit to Iceland in 2011.  When she moved in to care, there wasn't much space for trinkets and ornaments so I took it back in to my care before her bungalow was packed up.

Work has passed in a daze.  The Boy is up north at a funeral, the house feels very empty.

Today I have been thinking a lot about my gran.  I haven't said much about how ill she's been.  Right now I don't have the words.  She has taken a turn for the worse, the hospital don't know if she can bounce back this time.  Again, we wait.
