Applecorn

Invented by Carlos this is one of the kids' favourite snacks and even got a round of applause when suggested for the patient today. Not surprisingly he has continued to be the main focus of my day. He woke with a slightly decreased headache 6/10, down from yesterday's 7/10). Though still can't walk unaided or tolerate light for more than a few minutes. And struggled to process an additional rule to the simple word game we were playing. On the plus side his appetite is fantastic and his spirits are staying up and his sense of humour is very much not broken. And friends popping for a quick hello were a very welcome boost. So we are slowly but very determinedly heading in the right direction. Tomorrow he has set himself the goal of walking from his bedroom to the bathroom unaided and is hoping his head will drop to a 4.5.

I popped in and out of life and the outside world as the well get to do and took the opportunity of the visitors for a bonus catch up with friends too. And made more progess than yesterday on my work and hopefully less than tomorrow.
