Bookclub Luncheon

I met with my book club friends today and we had a very nice lunch at a local bistro called Novita.  We had a big table that was set away from the others so we could spend time talking after we ate our lunch.  I actually was a little early getting this shot since one of the women was running late and isn't in the photo. 
I got back from lunch and had to use the bathroom but I figured I would take Dillon out first since he had been in his crate.  The ground was still wet from yesterday's rain and I guess the bottoms of my boots were a little slick when I came in.  I went to go up the four steps from the living room to the bathroom and the next thing I know I was laying on the steps with my knee throbbing in pain.  Yes, I managed to fall UP the stairs! 
I pulled myself up on the landing and took a minute for my to catch my breath.  All the while Dillon is licking me and sitting on me.  Probably trying to figure out how in the world I did that cool trick.  I finally made my way into the bathroom and assessed my injuries.  Basically just my elbow, knee and hip but nothing terrible.  I was mostly concerned about my back which seems fine. 
Who knows what tomorrow will bring....maybe a swan dive off the roof onto the pool cover?  Jeez, I sure did feel silly.
