The Way of Shadows

It's easy to get your own shadow in a shot, so I think I have a new series and plan to include one at least every month.
The hubby's birthday today. He worked, came home, worked on the rental, read his book, took well-wishing phone calls that included hearing the birthday song sung by little girls in California, a trio of trombones on the phone and sung by me when I lit the candle on his piece of cake from last Saturday. Now he's at a band rehearsal. Who says I never have any time to myself.
