A penny for your thoughts.....

Whilst the kookaburra contemplated......whatever it as he was contemplating.....I worked on my newly-discovered skill ~ taking photos through the fly screen.

I suppose that sounds like a weird thing to do. I thought so too, until I tried it, through necessity, to capture a photo of a beautiful but timid rosella perched in the tree outside my lounge room window. The results were both surprising and pleasing.

With the focus on the subject, the background blurs more than usual, and I like that effect.
