Windermere

We woke to a covering of snow - just enough to make everything look white.  At first light I could see one lonely bird in the garden so in dressing gown and trainers I crept out, hoping not to be spotted by passers by, and spread a mix of  bird food around. Within 10 minutes there were chaffinches, a robin, dunnocks, a thrush, a coal tit, blackbirds and yellowhammers.

Then I had my breakfast :)

Later a walk to Waterhead where two jetties were partially underwater and lots of debris was washed up. This photo was from around the corner .... think it's slightly different from any I have blipped before.
