the Tyne

An afternoon trip into Newcastle to buy a new mobile phone amongst other things. I set off in the morning but after spending 15 minutes at the bus stop in snow that was blowing horizontally I changed my plan. 

I walked from the bus station down to the river for some photos before heading back up to the shops. I finally made it through the door of the phone shop - once in there was going to be no escape until I'd made the purchase.
