Gunpowder, Treason and Plot.....❤️

We drove upto York through some quite horrible wet and windy weather....It was only about 3pm when we arrived but it was already getting dark. We spent the next couple of hours walking around the city, York Minster does look quite formidable lit up in the evening.....Well opposite the Minster is the Guy Fawkes Inn, an eating house lit entirely with candles....No electric lights at all....!! Well having got dressed up we ate at this Inn, apparently Guy Fawkes was indeed born and brought up in this house......Pint of Timothy Taylor too...❤️
