Busy girl

Well I was so convinced that Minerva had pulled out all the staples that I packed her little hospital bag in readiness to sign the consent form for a general anesthetic when we went for this mornings check up. All staples there bar one, don't know who was more surprised me or the vet as it was me who initially suggested staples would work as the vet wasn't totally convinced. Well she is healing really well and we take her back next week :)

As you can see she has found herself some 'toys' apparently socks are awesome to throw around and I brought her some balls to chew and a tunnel. I would love to get her one of those cardboard castles but the dog crate takes up a lot of room and at the moment we can't remove it as we need to ensure her safety so there are occasions she needs to be shut in.

I am now permitted to stroke her again and she has stopped (mostly) trying to bite my feet.
